Service User’s agreement with HABAH
All Service User’s (customers) booking Service Providers through the HABAH website must understand and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1.1 HABAH acts as a booking agency for self-employed Hair, Beauty and Holistic Professionals (also referred to as Service Providers). Our contract with you (the customer) is limited to the provision of use of our Website. Your Service Provider is responsible for providing the services to you, and you have a direct contract between you and the Service Provider concerning the provision of services. This contract does not include HABAH. You and the Service Provider are responsible for any taxes arising as a result of using the services.
1.2 You acknowledge that you use the Service Provider at your own risk. HABAH is not liable for the services you receive from the Service Providers listed on our site, however please contact HABAH if you encounter a problem, or if the service you receive is lower than expected.
1.3 All Service Providers listed on the HABAH website have been checked to ensure that they have valid Public Liability Insurance.
2.1 You are solely responsible for disclosing on the booking form any health and/or medical conditions that you, or the person whom the service is intended for may suffer from and may affect the service booked. All hair and skin types should be disclosed to allow the Hair, Beauty or Holistic Professional to understand your needs. It is important that any allergies or previous allergic reactions are disclosed to allow the Service Provider to assess whether they can carry out the proposed service.
2.2 Failure to disclose any health and/or medical conditions that could affect the service you requested at the time of booking will result in you being fully responsible and liable for any reactions or problems that may occur, and not that of HABAH or the Service Provider.
3.1 Full payment is due at the time of booking. Prices vary from Service Provider and are dependent on the type and duration of service chosen. You as a customer do not pay any fees or charges to HABAH to use the service. The Service Providers listed on the HABAH platform pay HABAH a commission for any bookings made through the HABAH website resulting in a successful appointment.
3.2 All payments by credit card or debit card need to be authorised by the relevant card issuer. We may also need to use extra security steps via Verified by Visa. By making a booking you agree to provide complete, correct and true information including billing and payment information.
4.1 You may cancel a confirmed booking at any time by contacting us at email@example.com or by calling or texting 07733777150. 24-hours cancellation notice is kindly requested to help us reschedule your appointment, please see below for refund and fee process.
4.2 Less than 24 hour’s notice: If you cancel within or less than 24 hours of your confirmed booked appointment time you shall not receive a refund for the service booked. We will however try and accommodate rescheduling the appointment, but this may not always be possible.
4.3 For bookings made within 24 hours of the start time: If you book for an appointment with a start time within 24 hours, you can cancel and receive a full refund minus £2 to cover card processing and refund fees within 30 minutes of making the booking. If you cancel beyond these 30 minutes for a booking that will go ahead within 24 hours you will not receive a refund.
4.4 More than 24 hour’s notice: Cancellations made before 24 hours of the appointment will be refunded minus 20% retained to cover a non refundable booking fee and card processing fee. Any refund due back will take 3-5 working days.
4.5 No-Shows: No shows or no notice cancellations will be charged 100% of the cost of the services. You will be considered a “no-show” if you fail to be at your designated property after 15 minutes of your booked appointment time.
4.6 Delays: If you are delayed please let us know by calling or texting 07733777150 and we will do our best to accommodate you. Our Service Providers are instructed to wait at your home or office for 15 minutes after the appointment's start time. Unless otherwise specified, all paid sums are non-refundable.
4.7 If you violate any of the terms, your permission to use the services and website will automatically terminate. We reserve the right to cancel any booking without notice or cause.
4.8 If the Service Provider cancels your booking, you may reschedule directly with the Service Provider or request a full refund. 5.1 If you request to reschedule a confirmed appointment with more than 24 hour’s notice you will not incur any charge. If you request to reschedule a confirmed appointment within 24 hours of the start time, your booking will be treated as a cancellation (as above) if your assigned Service Provider cannot do the amended date/time, and no refund will be due. If your assigned Service Provider can accommodate the amended date/time, then you will not incur any charge.
5.2 If the Service Provider contacts you to reschedule your booking, you may reschedule directly with the Service Provider or if this is not suitable and the service cannot go ahead as booked, you may request a full refund. 6.1 If for any reason you are unhappy with the service provided to you by your chosen Hair, Beauty or Holistic Professional, it is recommended that you try and resolve this at the time with the Service Provider.
6.2 If you are still not happy with the resolution offered by the Service Provider, or do not feel comfortable addressing the issue with the Service Provider, please contact HABAH directly and we will investigate the matter. Please contact HABAH regarding any complaint or dissatisfaction within 48 hours of receiving your treatment to discuss a resolution.
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including debit and credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
Communicate with you;
Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.
Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16.
